I am chatting with Carol Zacharias, owner of Four Zen Bookkeeping. We are talking about her journey growing a business around money.
She
started like so many of us do. Carol wanted freedom, and Covid-19
actually gave her the space to create it. She was a teacher that
the pandemic really rocked. So she took a step back and asked
herself “what can I do with the skill sets I
have?”.
That is when he landed on bookkeeping. Her first bachelor’s degree was in accounting and she dove in.
Her strategy was where most of us begin: friends and family that grew into clients, which grew into hiring her first employee. She has amazing insight into growing her business and how you might do that too. Including the very necessary topic of how do you balance everything.
